The Good Boy Brand was a pet project created by Antonio Jacinto Ferreira in the 1950's in honor of his children. The brand was stalled and put on hold for a while but after 65 years in 2015 it was resurrected once again. The face of the brand remained the same with Antonio's youngest son Jorge. The idea behind the Good Boy brand is multi-purposed. First it's obviously to make an amazing product with unique flavors and superior quality. Thats just standard when it comes to Portuguese tinned fish. But the second was to evoke the fond memories of childhood. That why the child's image is used along with a popular game of the era. No first person shooter games here! lol I'm talking about the simple joy of spinning a top by wrapping twine around it, completing a puzzle, or flying a kite on the beach. We are meant to be reminded of life's simple pleasures before and while we eat!
