I have fond memories of these fish specifically. I remember the fish dealer(a woman carrying a basket of fish on her head) that used to come to the house in portugal. It was always a treat when she had these little guys. This tin done by Briosa is both beautiful and delicious. Packed filled with good olive oil, its a perfect tin for a meal. In summer tossed together with a tomato salad, or in winter over a warm bowl of rice with vinegar and herbs. You cant go wrong.

Briosa was inaugurated in August of 1991 and is a family business. Over the years they have been able to combine modern techniques with old world canning knowledge to create this traditional Portuguese product.
