Conservas Cambados is one of the premier canneries in Spain. Their products are always top of the line and they hold themselves to an extremely high standard. They are all about Galicia but as one of the newer kids on the block founded in just 1985 they aren't afraid to explore new things either. We look forward to getting more of their tins in hand and we know you will too when you get a taste.
Baby eels or elvers as they are also known as are a delicacy long enjoyed in the north of Spain. Traditionally the eels are places into a very hot clay pot with olive oil and garlic with a little chili pepper. They are served warm and placed on good bread dunked in the olive oil. Cambados is trying to recreate that very thing with this tin. You can warm them with a little extra garlic for a punch or eat them right out of the can. Either way this is a truly special tin.
