Inspired by the original made by Ebingers across the NYC borough, this chocolaty rich and delicious cake only got its current name during WW2. As the story goes, sirens would sound and Brooklyn would have to go dark in order to not create silhouettes of the ships leaving the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Hence the name Brooklyn Blackout. An opportunity presented itself and the bakery took its shot! Fast forward to today and this cake has become an iconic classic NYC staple.
Our version is a 3 tier 9 inch chocolate cake filled with chocolate pudding and covered with chocolate icing and chocolate cake crumbles.

All thanksgiving pies and cakes have to be pre-ordered by November 20th and will be made for drop off on Tuesday the 22nd afternoon into evening.
