Conservas Cambados is one of the premier canneries in Spain. Their products are always top of the line and they hold themselves to an extremely high standard. They are all about Galicia but as one of the newer kids on the block founded in just 1985 they aren't afraid to explore new things either. We look forward to getting more of their tins in hand and we know you will too when you get a taste.
Cockles in brine are sort of a throwback for me in particular. Growing up cockles are wildly popular in Portugal so i ate them a lot on the beaches of Nazare. There they are a fun snack food to socialize over a glass of wine or beer. In this case Cambados has taken that freshness and time locked it in this tin. Great out of the tin or mixed into a nice thai salad or pasta. You cant go wrong here.
